Sprouts Club
Sprouts @ ICJC is a kids club for kids between the ages of 5 and 12 years. The club provides the opportunity for kids to form friendships, learn and serve the community through activities and events in a fun-filled nurturing environment.
Objectives
- To help the kids form friendships while participating in fun events and picnics or exploring new hobbies and interests.
- To provide educational help for kids who needs it, such as writing, math, or science club.
- To create opportunities for kids to earn community service hours to apply for scholarships through activities that serve the ICJC community.

ICJC Sprouts Club (Story Time)

Story Time Schedule
- Bi-weekly sessions on Fridays from 6:45 PM to 7:45 PM.
- During winter months and the school year, sessions will begin around 5:30 PM to accommodate Maghrib prayer times.
Breaks
- No sessions during Christmas break, winter holidays, and summer break.
- During summer (mainly June), a community potluck will be hosted in place of regular sessions.
Special Events
One special event will be organized every two months. Activities may include:
- Field trips
- In-masjid events such as puppet shows, crafts, clay pottery, candle making, quizzes, and more
Ramadan
- Regular sessions will pause during Ramadan.
- Gift Exchange tradition will continue—parents will be asked to bring age-appropriate gifts (not sponsored by ICJC).
Registration Fee
A flat fee of $50 per child per year will be collected. This includes:
- Activity materials and crafts
- A Sprouts Club T-shirt
- Support for occasional events
Our goal is to keep the program accessible and enjoyable for all families.
T-Shirts
Each child will receive a Sprouts Club T-shirt (included in the fee).
- The registration form will collect information on the child's age, gender, and T-shirt size.
- We plan an exciting session where kids can personalize or decorate their shirts with volunteer assistance, Insha'Allah.
Communication
- All lesson updates, event information, and photos will be shared via the ICJC Sprouts Club WhatsApp group.
- Selected highlights will also be shared with the ICJC Media Team for broader community engagement.
